Membership
Membership to the Sogetsu Colorado Branch is open to all students and teachers of the Sogetsu School of Ikebana residing in Colorado, any person interested in studying the art of flower arranging in the Sogetsu style, and any person or entity that supports the Corporation’s charitable and educational mission. Any applicant meeting these qualifications may become a member upon acceptance of the completed application form and their respective payment of dues.
Members are entitled to and encouraged to attend our branch meetings, workshops and socials held throughout the year. These events are an opportunity to meet other members throughout the state and learn a wide variety of arranging styles. Members are also encouraged to participate in our spring flower show sponsored by the Denver Home Show in March of each year. At this event, our members can exhibit their personal arrangements to a wider audience. This three-day event includes demonstrations by members and sample lesson workshops where show attendees can make a beginner arrangement themselves.
